We stayed for a week in October as a quieter alternative to being in Taormina itself and it was a good choice.
The accommodation is set in a very nice garden, with top class pool and facilities.
The food was very good, the service excellent and the staff were competent, helpful and friendly. It was easy to relax.
The style is authentic. The castello owners still live there, so standards are maintained and there was an exclusive party there during our stay, but with no inconvenience to us.
If you want to eat out it is easy to get to Giardini Naxos by car, or Taormina (if you like that sort of place!)
