Il Picciolo Golf Club is the first 18 holes golf course in the Sicilian land, is located in a natural amphitheater on the northern slope of the mountain, inside the Etna Park.
The holes, designed in the dark lava eruption of 1916, is a project by architect Luigi Rota Caremoli, only Italian to be admitted to the British Golf Course Architects, who knew how to make the most of the 44 hectares of land hilly and technical obstacles are so well placed in context as to suggest a path quite naturally.
In 2011 it was chosen by F.I.G. as the perfect field for the Sicilian Ladies Italian Open.
Il Picciolo Golf Club has a Driver Rang, putter green and a pitch and putt course and a fantastic 18-hole course as well as a fully stocked Pro Shop.
You can rent golf bags composed of: driver, fairway wood, rescue, from 5 to pw irons, wedges and putter, with the possibility ‘of having them both steel and graphite, both flex Regular, Stiff flex, flex senior that flex lady and of course bags for lefties.
The bags are configured with the irons and woods of the best brands that are marketed as Srixon, Cleveland, TaylorMade.
